A new video commissioned by the Port of Bremerton features the engaging sights and amenities of a revitalized Bremerton waterfront and surrounding community in the recently completed visitor's video Bremerton Marina, Port of Adventure, produced by North Woods Productions.
Port of Bremerton's Director of Marine Services, Steve Slaton reports positive feedback, including a number of sales directly attributable to the video. "We are very happy with the finished product. It was a great hit with the commissioners, " added Slaton.
Production was at times challenging, being shot during December and January, so as to be available for the Big Seattle Boat Show. "I was a little nervous," said North Woods producer/owner, Ron Finney, as we had temperatures in the twenties and an unusual amount of snow, but we had a few beautiful sunny days that we jumped on!"
"This video works well, because it's all about story-telling." said Finney. "We document three boating families that have chosen to make the Bremerton marina their "second home", taking advantage of first-rate services offered by the marina and excellent quality of life available in Bremerton.
Bremerton Marina Operations Manager, Kathy Garcia commented that, "Working with North Woods Productions on this project has been a great experience, and we are very pleased with the final product."
The video distributed in packets at the Seattle boat show, is embedded on the Port's website and on YouTube. You can see the video online at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7PHniz_b4Y&feature=channel_page
